We would drive for miles just to try something new or highly recommended by whoever, and spend hours talking about where’s the best place for seafood, pasta, sushi etc. My husband, who is British learnt this when he went on a trip with my parents to Malaysia, and had to stop every few miles so that my father could have a taste of this and that.
